The Safewaze Competitor Universal Mounting Bracket is designed for adaptability. The bracket can accommodate the connection of many competitor devices to our tripods. An additional device bracket adapter is required when installing a competitor device to the 024-11047. If installing a competitor device, please refer to the provided chart (pp. 2-4) for additional information on the necessary bracket adapter needed for installation.
Additionally, the bracket easily attaches to both our 7’ Adjustable Tripod and 10’ Tech Tripod. Once attached, all Safewaze devices (3-Way Systems, Personnel Winches, and Material Winches) can fit on the bracket to secure them to the tripod legs. The bracket can also be used to attach Xtirpa’s confined space devices to Safewaze tripods. Xtirpa is a member of our family of trusted brands and is a global supplier of confined space fall arrest, rescue, and retrieval equipment.
Regardless of which device is used with the bracket, a Competent Person must determine the overall system is capable of withstanding anticipated fall loads and meets, or exceeds, OSHA required anchorage strength regulations.
The manufacturer’s instructions should always be read, understood, and followed for all components and subsystems in the Personal Fall Arrest System (PFAS).
